    Applied Insight (AI) is seeking a UI/UX Developer/Planner in Washington, DC or San Antonio, TX. 

    Responsibilities

    The UI/UX Developer/Planner will thrive in a team centered environment and possess good collaboration, communication, interpersonal, project management, time management, analytical-thinking, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.

    • Work with end users and be able to distill working requirements from subject matter specialists and communicate those requirements back to the developers
    • Demonstrate experience in creating user stories, personas, sitemaps, wireframes, prototypes, and storyboards
    • Will create user cases, plan and conduct user acceptance testing, surveys, and formal evaluations
    • Deliver well-organized briefings or presentations on all aspects of a project to clients and management officials
    • Analyze technical and business processes in assigned areas of responsibility, identify opportunities for improvement, generate and evaluate alternatives, and make recommendations to management

    Qualifications

    • U.S. Citizenship required 
    • 5+ years of related experience 
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Experience using industry standard wireframing and prototyping tools
    • Knowledge of XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
    • Knowledge of Drupal, SharePoint or other Content Management Software
    • Knowledge of security models, protocols, and practices
    • Experience with Microsoft Project software
    • Formal training in project management methodologies
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline driven environment
    • Proven experience in managing customer expectations and cross-functional teams
    • Team leader and team builder with strong motivational skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
