    Applied Insight (AI) is seeking a Lead Information Assurance/Security Specialist in San Antonio, TX who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and enforcing security requirements on a major Air Force cyberspace weapon system.

     

    This position is contingent upon contract award to Applied Insight. 

    Responsibilities

    The Lead Information Assurance/Security Specialist (LIASS) will support the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and act as the primary cybersecurity technical advisor to the Program Manager, Lead Engineer, and ISSM. The LIASS will ensure existing system baselines and non-production environments are kept in compliance with all applicable standards, guidelines, and best practices, and will apply security risk assessment methodology to system development, including assessing and auditing network structure. The LIASS will develop user manuals, crew position guides, and other documents that aid operators in the performance of their jobs. Other required documents will include: Anti-Tamper Plan; Authority to Test; Authority to Operate (ATO); Authority to Connect; Plan of Action and Milestones; Security System Plan; etc.

    Qualifications

    • US Citizenship required
    • Must hold a current TS/SCI clearance
    • DoD IAT Level 1 (Level 2 preferred); CISM; CISSP; GIAC Security Leadership
    • Education and experiece must be HS +11-14 years, BA/BS +5-10 years, or MA/MS +3-6 years
    • Experience conducting vulnerability assessments, developing mitigations, and achieving ATO on multiple releases and security assessments
