    Applied Insight (AI) is seeking a Program Analyst - Acquisitions in Washington, D.C. 

     

    The Program Analyst will provide AMO acquisitions with support in organizing, writing, and editing acquisitions documents. These documents include; market research reports, statements of work, operational requirements documents, requests for information, requests for proposals, and technical evaluation summaries in response to proposals prepared by vendors.

    Responsibilities

    • Participate by assisting with the documentation and editing of program and project management planning, vendor selection, and oversight documents
    • Working within an interdisciplinary team (Acquisitions Team and technical staff) to determine the needs of end users of technical documentation and product and how to best meet those needs
    • Standardize content across platforms and media
    • Revise documents as new issues arise

    Qualifications

    • Must be able to obtain a CBP BI clearance 
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
    • Experience required with acquisitions and program management regulations and policy for the federal government to include, but not limited to; Federal Acquisition Regulations, systems engineering, cost analysis, earned value management, and business financial management; Legal background a plus
    • Experience required in technical writing, editing and production editing of scientific and technical documents to communicate technical information to various audiences
    • Experience required performing, planning and directing activities related to writing or editing of technical materials such as scientific reports, regulations, newsletters, and journal articles
    • Technical knowledge of avionics and marine systems
    • Experience with interpretation, analysis, and application of Federal regulations and policy
    • Experience in resource management
    • Bachelor’s degree required, including coursework in writing
    • Position requires availability for travel
